[DICE] Vorbereitung: Firmware installieren || preparation: firmware installation

Well, now i received the controllerboard and ordered a 32GB micro-SD-chip from amazon prime.
9€ each, shipping included. *no words*
A micro USB-wire type B.
The Board with the plug.
And constructions how to best slip over the driver and what the configuration looks like. But I
already explained that. What do you need to do?! Get the SD-chip and save
the current Smoothieware-Firmware and the config.txt from my Dropbox on it.
Before that: Try out the board. For that: Put in the wire and connect to your computer.
And without the SD-chip this blinking is totally normal. One Power-LED has to burn constantly
and the other 2 have to signalize that the processor is working.
I will copy the current Firmware from the Smoothieware and the config-file from
the Dropbox to the SD-chip.
On here are now the firmware.bin and the config.txt saved.
I put it in. Power on or off? Doesn’t matter! The board is going to reset itself on it’s own.
Now the fourth LED signalized that the SD-chip was put in. A minute ago it were only
three, that were burning, now it’s 4. The LED’s from the middle are blinking slower.
When you push ‘reset’ now, I connected the board to my computer with the USB-wire.
So the computer should recognize it as a extern volume.
I found out that this takes a little while. Maybe he take a little longer in communicating
– I don’t know. Sometimes earliest after 10-20 Seconds. Well, here it is (the SD-chip)
Took a little, but now I can use and fill it with data,
with the USB, like an extern volume or an extern
drive. But you alway have to disconnect it safely! That’s how you put the Firmware on it
and know, what the LEDs are supposed to mean.
