Q-Workshop Tech Dice Metal D6 Set

Q-Workshop Tech Dice Metal D6 Set

Hey folks! Don Perkins here with another Quick and
Dirty review. Today we’re looking at
the Tech Dice d6 Metal
set. Yeah… metal.
Anyway, let’s go ahead and open these guys up. I would tell you a quick story about the
Tech Dice, (but) you can see it on my other
video. Let’s go ahead and open
this sucker up. What you get in the package are
five metal dice, all d6s
All using… man, they are wonderfully heavy.
I’m lovin’ the weight on these things.
Let me give you their close-up.
This is the exact same styling that was
in the (sorry for the glare there.
We’re getting some glare off of the lights I’m using.)
But you can see these are a highly
polished surface with…
with black painting
on the carved portions. These are caved dice.
I’m just… They have a nice, rough kind of
feel to them.
Beautiful detailing. These are all
the same. These are all five d6s, They
all have the same design.
But they’re gorgeous and they’re heavy.
They’re wonderful metal dice.
I’m going to go ahead and bring out the the game pad.
(Let’s get us back in focus
or something close to it.) And you can
hear: there’s that wonderful sound that
metal dice
make when they roll. (And I’m dropping one as we go here.)
Anyway, you get five dice. You hold all five in your hand and it’s like…
It feels like it’s almost a pound of dice
in your hand. It’s great.
They roll cleanly. Again, as you’d expect
from other Q-Workshop dice, they have a good
clean stop — especially on a felt surface like
this one
These are definitely fair dice.
I wouldn’t expect anything less.
Should you get these? If you like heavy
metal
dice and you want something that’s a little bit of
a conversation piece, because
these are very different. I mean not only
in they metal (but) they’ve got this
wonderful design to them: a very high-tech,
very futuristic looking dice. Go for it!
I certainly did. I recommend it to anybody else who is
looking for
a similar kind of a conversation piece dice. And it’s actually useful.
Again they are metal, though, so that
does mean
you do want to use a good felt surface.
You don’t want to be rolling these on a
wood surface — they WILL dent wood surfaces.
And I wouldn’t use them with a
tower that doesn’t have a good felted bottom
for the same reason. But anyway, they’re great. They’re wonderful rolling dice.
I’m going these another recommend.
Don out!
